The YES program is back, with a new course starting this week in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in collaboration with PNG ICT Cluster.
A big thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to get it up and running again. The planning commenced in earnest in September last year, when a past facilitator workshop was run, and has seen a volunteer working group formed, the program design developed, the manual reviewed, facilitator interviews and recruitment conducted – and finally ABV Volunteers, Jan and Allan, flying out on Friday.
YES is a practical course designed to raise the skill levels of business owners of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. YES is unique in that it couples intensive management training with one-on-one mentoring by Australian business experts.
The course consists of five one-day workshops conducted over a four week period. One-on-one mentoring sessions are conducted between workshops to provide guidance to participants on goal setting and strategies to consider before participants return to the next workshop.
