ABV has wished farewell to CEO of five years, Sarah O’Connor.
Under her leadership ABV has moved to establish long-term partnerships underpinned by strong program design, and become an international development organisation whereby the community is put first with sustainable impact the primary goal.
Following an extensive executive search, ABV’s Chair Mark Epper has announced that Liz Mackinlay has been appointed as the incoming ABV CEO.
Liz has over 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector both in Australia and internationally and is the current CEO of Australian Doctors International. She has held senior roles with World Vision both in Australia and Cambodia, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent, as well as with the Australian Federal Government. Liz is also the Chair of the North Sydney Women’s Benevolent Association and a Board member of Reality Learning.
With this background, Liz brings the skills and experience necessary to drive ABV’s strategic direction as we continue to diversify and implement significant long-term international development programs.
Liz will commence on 9 October 2017.
