After another successful year partnering with IBM to deliver projects which benefit communities in our region, as well as the company and its employees, ABV is looking forward to 2016 and the delivery of more important and impactful IBM Corporate Service Corps projects. In 2016 ABV will be working with IBM to place teams of leading employees on CSC projects in China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and on the first ever CSC project in Thailand. Teams will be focusing on humanitarian and social economic issues, working with global development organisations, research institutes and local governments.

The IBM Corporate Service Corps is an IBM program delivered with four NGO partners, of which ABV is one, with the goal of creating a ‘triple benefit’ – communities have their problems solved, IBMERs receive leadership training and development, and IBM develops new markets and global leaders. The CSC demonstrates that sending leaders with the right mix of technical and business knowhow is a powerful tool to address pressing global social, economic and environmental issues. ABV is proud to have been a program partner since 2008 and to be a part of it for another year.
