If you believe you have the skills and experience required to be an ABV Volunteer in a developing country please consider applying for registration.

Once ABV receives your application, including the two work referee reports, it will be assessed by Head Office. If this initial assessment is positive, an interview will be arranged to determine if you possess what we call the "core competencies" for handling Volunteer work. The interview will be conducted face-to-face if possible, by one of our trained interviewers (all returned Volunteers) and may take about 45 minutes. Where a face-to-face interview is not possible, a telephone interview will be arranged. The application and registration process may take up to six weeks.
