International Corporate Volunteering provides an opportunity for the private sector to mobilise the expertise of their staff to deliver international development solutions.

The benefits of corporate volunteering are threefold:

  • to the in-country partners, providing pro bono support to local governments, businesses, education institutes and not-for-profit organisations
  • to the participants, developing professional and leadership skills of future leaders, and
  • to the company, providing insight into the emerging economies within which they work and an understanding of how to do business in culturally diverse market
